Education

I think many people are confused by the word education. I think when majority of people think of the word education, they think schooling. Get an education is the equivalent of go to school. But this is not the case. The term education should be thought of various methods which could be used to learn. School, studies, YouTube, books, stories, people; the list can go on and on. Everybody learns differently and so the methods in which one can learn should be different.

I remember taking online classes for a university and I loved them. I was able to work at my own pace on my own time. This was amazing for me. But as I talked to others I learned that it is not the case for others. Many people learn better from an in-person lecture or from a group setting. Many people are visual learners and learn from videos best. Many people have difficulty hearing instructions and rather dive right into it. When it comes to board games I hate reading instructions, I much rather dive right into it and learn as I go!

The point is, every person should find a specialized area they want to grow in and then find a specialized way to grow in that area. Every person is different should be treated as such. If you suck in school that's fine! Find the way that you learn the best. And when it comes to creating a path for that specialty, you will have the skills to show for it! Take action and you will find yourself closer to your dreams.
